Responsibilities
- The System Development group is part of our Information Communication and Technology unit which is responsible for maintaining, developing, guiding and managing computer software systems, both in-house and proprietary, to support our aspiration to become the leader in information and analysis on forestry research.
- The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining existing and developing new systems, help end users, manage reporting and documentation of systems and use.
- The successful candidate is a high-performance developer with proven commitment, self-awareness, able to add value to the team and willing to learn.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coding for new or existing desktop and web-based applications
- Generate reports from corporate application software
- Perform system development documentations based on corporate guidelines
- Uphold corporate system development life cycle standards
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
Education, experience and technical skills- Bachelors degree or equivalent diploma in Computer Science
- Having experience in programming using
- ASP Classic
- Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0
- ASP.NET with C# language in Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
- Having experience in programming using
- ASP.NET with C# language in Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008
- Having experience these experience would be an advantage
- PHP, JQUERY or AJAX
- DevX 10.2
- K2 Blackpearl
Skilled enough in English to conduct everyday business, send emails, read and develop technical manuals and provide technical assistance to clients.

- Have initiative and capable of working independently as well as in team environment

Terms and conditions
- CIFOR offers competitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience.
- The successful candidate will be hired as a consultant under a 1-year contract
- The duty station will be at CIFOR headquarters in Bogor, Indonesia.
